Live Animals:
All animals are quarantined and confirmed healthy before they are put up for sale.
Once a purchased animal leaves the premises, we have no way to predict how an animal is handled or cared for, and with the sensitive nature of many species, we cannot offer animal refunds or exchanges. We do not pay or reimburse vet bills under any circumstances.
General Tips and Guidelines:
It is your responsibility to research and properly care for the animal in your care.
We cannot guarantee the animals temperament and it is imperative to be aware of your animal at all times. Regardless if the animal is considered docile, it is still an animal that can bite.
Snakes are carnivores and should be fed a balanced diet of whole prey, such as mice or rats. Frozen prey is recommended because it reduces the risk of disease, parasites, or injury to your snake.
Thaw frozen prey in the fridge overnight, then warm it to 98-100°F in a BPA-free bag before feeding. The prey should be about the same diameter as the snake's widest point.
Animals are sensitive to heat and cold. NEVER leave in direct sunlight. Do not leave unattended in a car. Avoid opening transport packaging in cars as animals can get loose and often find their way into the dash and other extremely difficult places to access.
Ensure caging at home is free from defects and is properly secured to avoid escapes. Make sure latches are latched. Use lid specific clips for screen lids, weights/books/heavy objects often do not suffice even when they appear to work.
In cool weather, do not place animals directly onto full temp heat sources; warm the animal slowly to mitigate any potential for shock.
Reptiles, like many animals such as birds, are known to potentially carry disease causing bacteria such as e. Coli and salmonella. Please use proper hygiene such as hand washing with soap and water and/or hand sanitizer after handling any reptile.
